The Kingdom Code - Make & Manage Money... God's Way!
So many times as Christians, we like to think that we're not supposed to think or care about money. Looking into scripture, that's not necessarily true, so what does the bible say about money? Scripture is clear that we cannot love both God and money (Matthew 6:24), but it does point to how we should be good stewards of money. There is a BIG difference!
This blog, I decided to just list some scripture that points to what the Bible says about money and giving.
Matthew 6:24
[su_quote]No one can serve two masters. Either you will hate the one and love the other, or you will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and money.[/su_quote]

Proverbs 15:27
[su_quote]The greedy bring ruin to their households,
but the one who hates bribes will live.[/su_quote]
[su_spacer size="50"]
Proverbs 13:11
[su_quote]Dishonest money dwindles away,
but whoever gathers money little by little makes it grow.[/su_quote]
[su_spacer size="50"]
Matthew 19:21-26
[su_quote]21 Jesus answered, “If you want to be perfect, go, sell your possessions and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come, follow me.”
22 When the young man heard this, he went away sad, because he had great wealth.
23 Then Jesus said to his disciples, “Truly I tell you, it is hard for someone who is rich to enter the kingdom of heaven. 24 Again I tell you, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for someone who is rich to enter the kingdom of God.”
25 When the disciples heard this, they were greatly astonished and asked, “Who then can be saved?”
26 Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.[/su_quote]
[su_spacer size="50"]
Mark 4:19
[su_quote]but the worries of this life, the deceitfulness of wealth and the desires for other things come in and choke the word, making it unfruitful.[/su_quote]
[su_spacer size="50"]
Proverbs 23:4-5
[su_quote]Do not wear yourself out to get rich;
do not trust your own cleverness.
5 Cast but a glance at riches, and they are gone,
for they will surely sprout wings
and fly off to the sky like an eagle.[/su_quote]
[su_spacer size="50"]
Luke 8:14
[su_quote]The seed that fell among thorns stands for those who hear, but as they go on their way they are choked by life’s worries, riches and pleasures, and they do not mature.[/su_quote]
[su_spacer size="50"]
Ecclesiates 5:10
[su_quote]Whoever loves money never has enough;
whoever loves wealth is never satisfied with their income.
This too is meaningless.[/su_quote]
[su_spacer size="50"]
Psalm 62:10
[su_quote]Do not trust in extortion
or put vain hope in stolen goods;
though your riches increase,
do not set your heart on them.[/su_quote]
[su_spacer size="50"]
1 Timohty 6:17-19
[su_quote]Command those who are rich in this present world not to be arrogant nor to put their hope in wealth, which is so uncertain, but to put their hope in God, who richly provides us with everything for our enjoyment.18 Command them to do good, to be rich in good deeds, and to be generous and willing to share. 19 In this way they will lay up treasure for themselves as a firm foundation for the coming age, so that they may take hold of the life that is truly life. [/su_quote]
[su_spacer size="50"]
Romans 13:8
[su_quote]8 Let no debt remain outstanding, except the continuing debt to love one another, for whoever loves others has fulfilled the law. [/su_quote]
[su_spacer size="50"]
Matthew 6:21
[su_quote]For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also. [/su_quote]
[su_spacer size="50"]
2 Corinthians 9:7
[su_quote]Each man should give what he has decided in his heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.[/su_quote]
[su_spacer size="50"]
Proverbs 3:27
[su_quote]Do not withhold good from those to whom it is due, when it is in your power to do it. [/su_quote]
